报告摘要: Let  be a unital semisimple Banach algebra. Denote the set of the generalized Fredholm elements in  by . In this report, we study the perturbations and the spectral mapping theorem of the generalized Fredholm elements. Furthermore, for , the conditions that f(a) is also a generalized Fredholm element are investigated, where f is a complex-valued function analytic on a neighborhood of . In addition, the topological properties of  are discussed. The last but not least, as an application, the topological property of the set of the generalized Fredholm elements is considered in a primitive unital -algebra. What's more, the socle of a primitive -algebra is characterized by the generalized Fredholm elements.

报告人简介：蒋立宁教授，北京理工大学数学科学学院教授，博士生导师，长期从事泛函分析和算子代数的研究，入选教育部新世纪人才。先后主持和参与国家自然科学基金面上项目和青年项目4项，研究成果发表在 J. Algebra， Proc. AMS等数学刊物上。
